I spent a lot of time dreaming of owning an awesome Jeep. Finally after returning from my second tour to Iraq I traded my Pontiac for a 2008 Jeep Wrangler X 2 door. Another deployment and a couple years later I am nearing the completion of my dream Jeep. I love the aggressive look provided from the Goodyear MT/R tires , Smittybilt XRC Armor, and XRC bumpers as well as the aggressive sound and performance provided by the Ripp Stage Two Supercharger and Borla Cat Back exhaust (dual exit). It gets a lot of looks and compliments from others and occasionally starts an argument between me and my son (4 y/o) as to who the Jeep belongs to… he normally wins. Other mods on my JK consist of a Pro Comp 2.5” Suspension Lift with ES9000 shocks, Smittybilt XRC 8 winch, KC HiLights Long Range Slimlites, and 17” XD797 Spy Wheels. Currently in the process of upgrading the stock front axle and gears to a Rubicon Dana 44, 4.88 gears, and lockers.
