Let me start by saying that 4WD Hardware is the best. I have been shopping with them for over 12 years.
90% of the parts are from 4WD Hardware. Good quality parts and no hassel service.
My 89 Wrangler (Elanore) was voted Jeep of the Month in May 2002 “Muddin Mag” and i was hoping to make the cover.
Since then it has been stripped down to the frame and and built back up with a rust free frame and tub.
The Remaining parts are from the original Jeep. (335,000 miles) Still the original paint, I am hoping to repaint in the next year or so.
My 89 Wrangler has a Chevy 350 (330hp) motor, a “Be Cool” aluminum radiator and a 16″ puller fan. Turbo 350 transmission with
transfer case adapter, a slip yoke eliminator kit and a B&M mega shifter.
Custom made front bumper with a High Lift Jack. Stainless steel brake lines and front shocks. JKS quick disconnect on front sway bar.
4″ suspension lift and 1 1/4″ body lift (for tummy tuck skid plate) boomerang shackles. Xenon Flares, Gen-Right rock sliders,
BF Goodrich All terrain 33″ tires. Back bumper with swing away tire carrier. Other little additions over the years… Bestop thermal seat, roll bar pads, grab handles,
bikini top, roof boot, Bestop supertop, security stereo console, diamond plate corners and quick disconnect mirrors.
Next week i will be installing a “4×4 posi-Lok 4WD engagement system” (to manually engage front hubs from inside the cab)
Last but not least, I have to mention “Pearl” , the hitchiker on the leaf spring, she has credintials, as she has been there for at least
10 years through thick (mud) and thin, and finally thanks to Domenics Auto and Jeep who did the work and introduced me to 4WD Hardware years ago.
As an additional note, I am the original owner and this was a daily driver until 2007. I now store it for the NH winters.
