All my life I have oogled at the rigs on the road and wished and dreamed for my own rig. Finally my time has come! I purchased a 2011 Rubicon Unlimited and rolled off the lot a happy camper. Since I often work out of town, often for a week or more at a time, my first purchase was a Smittybilt cover to protect my new baby from the sun

Adding bigger tires, bumpers, and mods are more than stock brakes can handle. I really started feeling the brakes struggle when coming up to a light. I went to 4wd.com and picked up some Powerslot brake rotors for my LJ Rubicon, they are a direct fit for front and back

Spring arrived full force today. All of are snow is near gone and the weather is just beautiful. I took a few hours to drive over what little snow piles we have left. Its also time to start thinking about my spring/summer projects for my Jeep.

This white Water Adventure would have never been possible without the Sky Jacker 4inch Lift. The clearance & articulation are perfect for the weekend wheeler. The on-road ride is excellent. All of the components fit perfectly with no modification.

During the repair of my mostly ineffective brakes (previously posted), I discovered that one of my front lockout hubs was broken. I decided to invest in the Premium Lockout Hubs by Warn, since I plan to keep my 1965 Jeep CJ5 for a long time. I checked around (sorry I’m on a budget) and 4WD Hardware had the best price I could find.

My Rubicon Express rear sway bar end links were shot – all of the bushing was gone! I went to 4wd.com and picked up some JKS Adjustable Sway Bar End Links. Install took 15 minutes and really helped the body roll of my jeep.
