    Front to back

Our 2003 TJ Rubicon is a continuous work in progress. One of the recent upgrades was a new ARB rear bumper. The install was a simple bolt on requiring only the basic tools in my garage. I spent a lot of time researching bumpers to find one that offered good corner protection, towing capability, and a secure tire carrier. The ARB is the perfect solution. Add to that the bonus of the pneumatic cylinder to keep the tire carrier out of the way when the tail gate is open even on hills. I also purchased the Hi-Lift mount that offers a great place to keep your jack and is secure by using Gorilla lock lugs to hold it in place. The bumper is definitely heavier than the stock bumper. To keep the 2-1/2 inch OME level after the bumper install, I had to replace the rear 2-1/2 inch OME TJ springs with 2-1/2 inch OME LJ springs. Along with OME shocks, steering stabilizer, and 3/4 Teraflex spring spacers up front, the extra support was enough to level up the ride and support the Jeep when it is loaded with gear.
